The Q Global Trust is a uniquely qualified private equity investment and financial consulting firm wholly owned and operated by its principals. The principals have been operating various businesses together for over 20 years. The firm’s principals provide unique operational experience and invaluable skills for improving and growing business from all sectors and industries. All of the principals of The Q Global Trust are former chief executive officers, presidents, or senior vice presidents of some of the largest companies in their sectors or regions.

The Q Global Trust specializes in investments and consulting for early venture, mid venture, buyouts, growth, and turnaround of small and middle market companies. The firm invests in all industries. It prefers investment in the U.S. with companies in need of equity and/or debt in the range of $500,000 to $10 million. The firm uses private equity, bank and Wall Street relationships to fund its deals. We prefer to team with existing management and provide attractive performance based equity incentives for the key members of the management team. When needed, The Q Global Trust principals serve as interim or permanent Chief Executive Officers or Chief Financial Officers. The firm has a proven track record of working with management and owners to close transactions of any complexity in a timely manner.

Our philosophy is simple, is the deal compelling; does it have quality people, is it a solid investment. These unique investment opportunities are something you would not normally have access to. These types of investment are usually taken up by a select few; banks, pension funds, high net worth individuals that are in the “know”. Most unique or successful ideas are grown by newly formed companies where investors bought in at the very early stages. Many times these companies are sold on and the average investor never gets to know about them. Others will go to IPO after the big money has been made.

Targeted Industries

Targets for investment include a broad array of businesses providing manufactured products, materials, and services to industrial, commercial and consumer customers. Strategic focus includes retail, food service, web services, real estate development and new technology and product development.

Candidate Profile

Candidates are privately held companies. We generally take a control position, but are flexible based on equity investments or needs of the company.

Competitive Profile

Prefers companies that are strongly positioned in their market segments with unrealized potential for growth due to capital needs or internal management needs.


We generally prefer small to mid size opportunities with revenue generating companies with investment needs ranging from $500,000 to $10 million. We also are aggressively seeking start up opportunities with product or services in development or near maturity.

Financial Performace

We will consider both profitable and under performing businesses, including companies in need of operating or capital restructuring.

Payment Terms

A typical transaction provides all cash consideration to sellers. We also will structure a transaction with a combination of cash, notes and an earn-out or similar performance incentive component.

Operating Management

Our preference is to retain existing management and provide considerable operating autonomy. We typically team with key managers and provide attractive equity incentive programs based on performance. If necessary, we will assume management responsibility or supplement the team from our management resources.


We prefer companies that operate within the United States, however we will do global investments for the right opportunity.
